Farewell Finland!

My room looks quite empty.. and luggage looks huge, mutta painorajoitusten mukaan on tavaraa vain mukana, yay.

Siivoukset tehty ja kaikki on valmista. It's time to say goodbye to Jyväskylä, and hello to Esslingen!
I hope I'll be updating my blog soon, in Germany that is.

I'll miss you all! Let's keep in touch. :) heipparallaatia!

One day left

What..?! Only one day to departure?
Where did all the time go? Tomorrow there will be some serious cleaning to do, but after that I'm sure I'll find time to share my last minute feelings at blog.

Luckily the company is top-notch! Made some pizza together with my gals; Taru, Anu and Susku. Now having some wine to smooth the disappointment about the game! Hyvä ruoka, hyvä seura, hyvää juomaa.. What a lovely evening. :)

Three days left

Dear blog,
so today after the exam in the morning, I had a little, tiny, minor panic about the whole going-to-Germany-as-an-exchange-student -thing. I made some to-do -lists and to calm my nerves, baked some unleavened barley bread, elikäs rieskaa leipasin. Those poor little things.. but they taste good! Sehr gut!

Oh! And I also started writing my official exchange report which every student have to do if they are going abroad. Oikein reipasta aloittaa raportin kirjoittaminen jo koto-Suomessa. :)

Four days left in Finland

Gosh! I'm so exhausted.. Ihan väsy. Pakkasin tavaroita koko päivän, kun yritin vältellä matematiikan kokeeseen lukemista. :)
Heh, mathematics are really not my thing..

Well, I got a lot stuff packed and done today. My houseplants have a new home at Taru's place and I'm sure she'll take good care of them.

I got a new friend to travel with me. The old one died a few days ago.. But I think it was luck! Better to break the luggage at home rather than at the airport. :)

Five days to departure

Dear blog,
I decided to begin reporting my study exchange experiences by getting my own blog. So here I am, writing my first note!
Today I started packing my things, not as efficiently as I hoped, but packing has begun at least. :) Tomorrow I'm taking my dear houseplants to their new home at my friend's place. We'll see what else progress in arrangements can be noted by tomorrow evening..
