On the same trip when visiting Dachau, we also drove to Ulm and went to see the Ulmer Münster, Ulm Minster, Ulmin tuomiokirkkoa. There are 768 steps in the 162 meter high tower, but because of my fear of heights, I did not go all the way up to the top!
I had vertigo already on the way to the first level of the tower so I stopped there and after calming down my heart and my breath, I took some pictures of the city of Ulm. The way back down was even more horrifying but I made it! The church is enormous from the inside and it looks really massive from the outside, too.
